Foundry Overhead Cranes are used to transport molten steel ladles in foundries and steel mills. Foundry cranes are superior performance cranes operating in both high temperature and high amount of dust environments.
Due to the harsh environment such as high temperature and dust, the requirements for safety and reliability of casting cranes are much higher than those of ordinary overhead cranes.
Our casting cranes are designed with many safety protections in their construction and components:
First, the casting crane is mainly used to lift the ladle for pouring molten iron, so it is usually equipped with a main hook and an auxiliary hook.
Second, the casting crane takes heat insulation and radiation protection measures for the main beam, sub-main beam, electrical room, etc., in order to reduce the influence of external heat on its baking.
Third, considering the special working conditions of casting cranes, our motors and power supplies are designed with redundancy.
Because the casting crane works in the harsh environment of high temperature dust, the safety and reliability of the crane are much higher than that of the ordinary bridge crane.
The main hook is a gantry spreader with two plate hooks, which is used for lifting and handling the ladle; the auxiliary hook is a forging hook or a plate hook, which is used for dumping molten steel, molten iron or other lifting items.
Casting crane takes heat insulation and radiation protection measures for the main beam, sub-main beam, electrical room, etc., in order to reduce the influence of external heat on its baking, because it needs to work continuously at high temperatures.
our motors and power supplies are designed with redundancy. If one of the motors or a group of electronic control devices fails, the other group of driving devices can be used under the rated lifting capacity. Complete a work cycle.
The highlights of this machine are integral processing technology and secondary assembly technology. For the first time assembly, the welding components sizes are fixed and adopt flat position welding to ensure the quality of welding seams.
The secondary assembly is to release welding stress before the integral processing of the bridge to ensure the stability and accuracy of product process precision.
