Aggregate Dosing System in HZS Concrete Batch Plant

Aggregate is very important element in concrete, so a aggregate dosing system is a important components in a concrete plant. In HZS series Concrete Batching Plant, the standard Aggregate Dosing System is PLD. The figure below is the PLD4800.

The PLD aggregate dosing and weighing system leads to remarkable savings in investment and even more importantly, reduced operational costs. Dosing is done by special belt feeders, operated with frequency controlled speed. With this system a dosing accuracy of down to 2 kg and a very low deviation in weighing can be achieved. At the same time reliably functioning aggregate moisture measuring allows to calculate the correct  amount of water added to the mix.

PLD system

The dynamic PLD system during the dosing and weighing process permanently conveys aggregates into the holding hopper, which is why the complete weighing belt conveyor construction only needs very limited width and height. Aggregate bins therefore can be installed 2-3 m (6-9 ft) lower than with plants using normal weighing belt conveyor solutions. Moreover, the loading edge of the aggregate bin can be lowered correspondingly and the loading ramp can be built shorter. This reduces the required space and at the same time  generates remarkable savings in fuel and operating costs of the wheel loader.
